Sorry, my crystal ball is currently broken, so I cann't see what has been your problem with installting one of them... ;)
|
And couldn't you give me for example the right info to select at the beginning of the installation on ideneb?
|
Make sure to have 9.5.0 Voodoo Kernel and the driver for VIA Chipsets selected at "Customize", then hit -v Paramter on boot: prompt and post the last lines if it gets stuck...

Thank you Imkantus, I'm going to try this!
|
as you told me what to do, the installation went good! Everything works but not the wifi... I've got a d link dwl g132 but i couldn't find any kexts...

If I am right this USB dongle should have AR5005(G) Chipset - I am not sure about that! I recommend to check this via booting into some Linux system and entering "lsusb" command first.
If it's correct, you can try this: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/ind...t=#entry238508 (even on Leopard) - but I can't guarantee that it will work, since this method is for PCI cards - not for USB devices. So you should defintely make a back-up of your current IO80211Family.kext before you gonna replace it! |
I think the D-Link Chipset is AR5005UG. Is it the same?

i tried that but the device doesn't turn on... Any other advice?
