Going from Chameleon v1.0.12--> 2.0 RC ????
 

Recently tried to update but the installer failed on both RC1 and RC2...
In both Snow leopard and Leopard 10.5.7
Anybody know whats going on????
Does it have to be done manually? If so How?

i dont trust the installer. so i always to the manual install.

download the chameleon binaries. there's a file in there "/doc/readme" which has all the instructions for manually installing it. its quite easy... just copy n paste (while replacing the appropriate strings to match ur config)

try to install it using sudo

open up terminal and type sudo -s then ur pass then install it
