hello there and thanks for having me here

of course ..im posting with a problem install
sorry for this :)
ok i am tryin to install iatkos 7 from dvd and after puttin it in verbose mode the error is waiting on root device
i should tell you tht my hard drive is sata (as in sig) and have tried AHCI RAID and IDE modes for this
i belive ahci has been the best choice so far as for other bios settingsi have changed some things for example acpi v1 S3 etc
i should also point out tht disk utily does not see my hard drive to format it to hfs so maybe its a problem with dvd not having my specific sata drivers
can any one add some more things for me to try on this problem
