Hi all

Have installed Zephyrth leo 10.5.2. Just can't make my graphic card work.
Installed first the x1600 drivers that was on DVD, but didn't work.
After a reinstall of leopard, I replaced some Kext's fils with them from "modbin x1650 8.10.1"
The kext's I replaced is:
ATINDRV.kext
ATIRadeonX1000.kext
ATIRadeonX1000GA.plugin
ATIRadeonX1000GLDriver.bundle
ATIRadeonX1000VADriver.bundle
IONDRVSupport.kext

modbin says that the kext's is made for Device ID 0x71c6

The only thing that happens its that I get resolution changing, thats good, but I need QE/CL.

Any one have some advice?

talk to firewalk he has the same dev id as you and I with working qe/ci and rez change

ok i think i may be on to something it seems that the atiradeonx1000.kext file or atindrv.kext file may be what is hindering me (i know everyone is thinking those are the drivers you need). i have to find out a way to get those to recognize that i have an agp card not a pci-e card, i have been trying to use agpgart, and natit which with out the other 2 kexts loaded just fine and detected my card but of course no qe/ci, and i didnt even try to change rez. so if anyone wants to help me in developing a way to get this to work for agp i would be greatfull
