KP kernel_task???

Ok so last night I finally installed my copy of Photoshop, I was enjoying it and playing around. But then my dog came in and ripped(literally) out my power cord... Im upset because everytime after VoodooHDA loads, it kernel panics and wont go any further. Ive tryed to boot atleast 4 times... help please??? its baffling me because it had a power short... not a mesed up kernel... its a AnV Voodoo 9.6.0 on 10.5.8 with correct seatbelt. I can't even boot safe mode.. and mac drive(nothing new) is saying it cannot be read and is curropted... please help me...

Maybe it'll help to boot the install DVD, launch Disk Utility & Repair the file permissions of your Partition? :)

try and remove all files in cache
sudo rm-rf /System/Library/Caches/*
install voodoohda
fix premissions
reboot in -f mode

it says command not found... what else can I do?

EDIT

Did you removed AppleHDA.kext before you applied VoodooHDA.kext ?

Edit: And I am quite sure that there are also other ways to your get sound working. ;)

Try using Voodoo kernel or other compilation apart from AnV's.
