How do you find out if your OSX86 is using speedstep?
 
I know on a Real mac, you processor is scaled down in performance when not in use, how do you fin out if it works on a hackintosh? I want my i7 to scale down when not in use to save energy.

there should be something in Settings... i cant remember though and my hac is out of order...

you are talking about speedstep i guess, check msr tools and cpu-i to see if your speedstep is on.

Both fail to work for some reason. I installed CPUi, but it says the kexts aren't loading. I have it in S/L/E/ and E/E
