Lenovo S10E resolution problem. Please help
 

Ok, so I'm aware that I have to hook the s10e up to an external monitor to successfully install OS X but I've tried hooking it up to my Samsung LCD TV and an old LG monitor and in both cases the display only shows what I see on the s10e screen. It still snips the vital continue or next (never seen it) button that I have to hit to progress further than the disk utility screen. Am I missing a vital point in the process?

Also, I'm trying to do a dual-boot system but the XP install won't let me install to a FAT32 format, even if I pre-format with FDISK. It still only gives me the NTFS options when I go back to the setup and 30Gb just won't be enough. Any tricks for this one?
