Weird screensaver issue
 

Hi all

I have just finished a new install of SL on a Gigabyte board (EP45-UD3L) and most things are working fine. However, the screensaver on this one seems to have an issue and resets to default every time I exit the preferences screen. I built exactly the same machine for my father and his worked fine plus I installed Snow on a ASUS P5K for my kids and that works fine too.

I have repaired permissions, cleared caches and logged in/out multiple times without luck. Has anyone got any ideas on where I should be looking to get to the bottom of this one?

Been thinking about this and I suspect it may have to do with the fact that I transferred all info from another HDD in the machine when finishing the install.

I am going to do (yet) another install but this time have a shiny clean fresh one instead of transferring everything. If the screensaver works as intended then the problem will lie somewhere in the transferred items, if not - well, I just won't use one :)
