Hello all! after reading alot on this forum i finaly have my laptop ACER ASPIRE 9424 (9420 series) dual Boot with Windows 7 + OSx86 aktos v7 (1.5.7).

Despite i found and installed the kext from nvInject project, my display looks pretty well. 1440*900 resolution all is fine.

My graphic card is a "NVIDIA GeForce Go 7300"

Recently i installed iLife 09 and i fully updated. Everything seems to work fine, but when i select a photo in the screen and press the edit button to do the magic no photo loads up in the screen !! :(

I know that its somethin related with the graphics but i dont know what !!!

I'm posting the photos to understand better what i mean !!

Has anyone related problems ?? I installed iLife caue its a verry nice suit that i can do some fixes quickly with iphoto :( it too bad that i cant get it work properly :((

And sorry if i post in a wrong section move it if necessary

I don't know about your problem, but have you tried using GFX / EFI String instead of enabler kext, yet?

Well first of all, you will need to remove your current Nvinject kext from /System/Library/Extensions. (Do a back-up of it, if you need to restore it later.)

Then lunch the OSx86 Tools, choose "Add EFI Strings / Boot Flag", the select "GFX String" - select a "Custom GeForce" from the Drop'Down menu, first field is freeform, second ist your cards RAM, the NVCAP you need should be: <04000100 00000300 0c000000 00000007 00000000> (I hope it works - I just googled for it.) - Then import the string to your com.apple.Boot.plist (be aware, that there might be a second com.apple.Boot.plist in /Extra folder!)

On next reboot, use -f bootoption. :)
