Why doesn't my EFI load my DSDT.aml at all?
I create my DSDT.aml by
Create a .bin file with Everest's DSDT tool in windowsxp (same computer with my Leopard) >> Create a .dsl file with ACPI patcher02beta5 >> Create DSDT.aml with fixes and patches. After that, I put my DSDT.aml to my EFI root, or /Extra/. It seems that the DSDT.aml does not work at all. The MacOS still boots as before, same boot message with -v flag. And still USB, Video card, Sleep not work well. I don't see any difference. What's my problem? My spec: MSI K8N Nforce4 motherboard AMD64 x2 4600+ Nvidia 6800GT 256MB PCIE Chameleon V2 RC2.0 Retail Leopard 10.5.6 kexts in my /EFI/Extra/Extensions : AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext AppleNForceATA.kext ApplePS2Controller.kext dsmos.kext IOATAFamily.kext SMBIOSEnabler.kext System.kext I can't figure it out, please help. Sorry for my English. |
Type Wait=y in chameleon menu to check if chameleon is loading your dsdt or not.
