Kernel Panic everytime

Hi
I Have Asus P5B-V motherborad and geforce 7800GTX graphic.
I use snow leopard 10.6 V3.5 Universal for the installation.
Installation goes fine, i checked all kext in customize.
But after the installation and then rebooting, i get a kernel panic everytime i starting up.

On the screen i see something wrong with AppleAHCIport, IOAHCIFamily, IOPCIFamily.

Please help me what to do??
/Fredric

Fsvalin,

I think ur machine is okay for SL. :D

To date you've posted, lets look at any other post related to "ES2LKit", read it and get some USB stick and explore the possibilities.

Its not that difficult ;)-- normally noob will only take 2 days exploring and voila it works. I had successfully installed on GUID and MBR with above readings

Try it.

Good luck.

try doing this:

go to bios , look for sata mode , put sata mode to ahci

Solved the problem.
Installed with the correct kext then it works.
Like you said 2days exploring and voila it works!.

Does anyone know what this error means. Install went fine without errors. I got this error after install.

You need the IntelCPUpowermanagement disabler, or it might be something else, worth a try.

Boot with the flag arch=i386 and see if that works.

I can boot into 32 bit mode but not 64 bit. I used -x32 at boot and worked 3 out of 5 times so far. Any reason why I cant boot into 64 bit? When I first installed , I loaded into 64 bit but then got KP while in desktop.

yeah the video kexts dont like 64bit mode, so you gotta get an 8 Series card or above if you want to run in 64bit mode.
