How Microsoft has Embarrassed OSX86 Community

My name (screen) is XWIN78 for a reason---2 years ago I escaped the clutches of MS and used Linux for a year before building a sweet Vanilla Leo system last year. And thanks to all you incredible, helpful minds on infiniteMac I built my second Hack w/ Snow Leo in September w/ 4 kexts & a highly customized DSDT. So I wanted to build a Hack for a Boxee HTPC mostly to use Netflix. After installing Boxee & silverlight on my Real Macbook Pro I was enjoying Netflix Instant watch. So it's time to test my hackentosh and I get nothing but a DRM error 8152---caused by some hardware check done by Microsoft in the SilverLight plugin. I know this is not new news, but after spending about 5 hours on google looking for a solution I am pissed and thoroughly embarrassed that Microsoft has managed to stop me and seemingly the whole OSX86 community. I thought I was free from the oppressive regime Microsoft---!!

Since when is MS interested in rooting out Hackentosh systems?...

Here is the answer:

For now if you want Boxee & Netflix Instant Watch your HTPC has to be a Windows based system---that is BULL---

HOW CAN WE GET AROUND THIS___THERE HAS TO BE A SOLUTION!!!!!

Some One HELP---THIS IS WRONG!

You can use Netflix on a real mac, just not a on a Hack.

My hackintosh does the same shit, DRM error.

On my other iMac, it works perfectly, it has something to do with the ethernet port configuration I heard.

Yea---thanks to the OSX86 project a lot of us have escaped MS....well the cruel long arm of Bill Gates can even mess with this great project---it is unbelievable. It is almost an anti-tust violation. Either pay out the nose to have a Mac HTPC or infect your hardware with Windows.

Stop being so melodramatic and do a little more research will you?
