Hard Drive cannot be formatted/partitioned/erased
 

Hello All,
Ive tried installing Mac OSx on my HP Pavilion dv6607nr laptop and iPC 10.5.6 was the only distro that seemed to have recognized my internal hard drive! I tried it with iATKOS, iDeneb, Kalyway and Leo4all.
Ok, so now, when I try to format or partition or erase my detected hard drive, it doesnt let me!
It gives and error. Sometimes it says Input/Output error and sometimes it says disk cant be unmounted.

I tried creating a partition in windows 7 (NTFS, FAT32) and I also used Partition Magic to create (HFS+) but still it had the same problem, it couldnt be formatted to Mac OS Extended (Journalled)
Am I doing anything? Is there something I need to know?
