reboot loop

I am trying to install iatkos v7 on my HP 9890 but before the install starts I get a grey background with the apple logo and then it reboots. Do I need a different kernel or what can be the problem?

My system is:
Chipset: Intel G43 express
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300
Graphic card: NVIDIA GeForce GT230

Ideally you should boot in Verbose Mode until you have your machine running the way you want. This can be done by using the -v boot-flag. When you start the computer up you will see the Darwin bootloader screen. This screen will count down and by pressing the requested key will give you a prompt to enter these boot-options. Now instead of getting a gray screen with Apple logo, you will get useful information about the boot process and see at which line it hangs on.

When I boot with -v it goes to the darwin screen but then it reboots again, I can't see what it says

I would try to boot using cpus=1 bootflag or try to use the 9.2.0 ToH Kernel using /toh on bootprompt. :)
