Hey guys,

I've also tried to get Zephyroth 10.5.2 to work, but got some weird errors after the successful installation.
After the first restart I was happy to see, that apparently everything was alright, so I could boot up via MBR...

After the spinner rotated for a while i got the "Restart your computer"-error, which is displayed in four languages. The same happened for me, as I tried to boot up using the "-x" bootflag

Next I tried the "-f" bootflag which caused a weird error:
EFI enhanced bootloader build: ToH
Using SMBIOS table found at 0x000fbdb0
Using ACPI RSDP revision 0 found at 0x000fa7c0

Before I decided to post it on this forum, I searched on the web and had a look on the wiki, but I couldn't find any solutions.

Does anybody have an idea or a hint for me, what could have caused these errors?

I have such problem - turn off ACPI 2.0 at bios (like all advanced power management options) and it works.

My hardware is 3200+ @ KT800Pro chipset

ok thanks for your answer, i'll try this after work tonight. if it solves the problem, we may add it to the "known issues" on the wiki.

Ok, after I turned off any power management options, the error disappeared. Thanks for that so far…

But when I try to boot up, I still get the "Restart your computer"-error, I also reported that on my first post.

So I tried to boot up with displaying diagnostic messages ("-v"). But everytime the boot process stops at a different point. The log doesn't go on, and I cannot hear any noise from my HD (which is usually that loud, that I can hear it working) :D

I also tried to repair the partition permissions etc., using the dvd. Any help?

Try turn on only one core and use -v -x.

P.S ?? ??-?????? ??? ???????, ???...

Hello!
I've got the same problem, but not after installing, I'm just trying to install this, and still can't find a solution.

I have asus p5vd2-x motherboard. I have found an option to turn off acpi support but it's gray, so that I can't disable it. I've read somewhere over the net that it's due to Core 2 Duo E6300 processor which I own. I've tried also booting with "platform=X86PC", "acpi=off", "-v -x cpus=1" etc. but I couldn get it work. I've also tried just waiting about 1h in hope of getting it work... ofcourse it didn't help to. Can anybody help me? I am desperated :'(

p.s. tried with leo4all 10.5.2 and Kalyway 10.5.1
