AppleNForceATA 1.0.4 Snow Leopard (32/64 bit)

Same as AppleATIATA I made...
It has no deprecation nor warnings and has correct dependencies for loading out in 32 and 64 bit mode.
If the other drivers didn't work for you in 64 bit mode, try this one...

Download including sources:

Built kext is under build/Release.

Enjoy... ;)

Does it fix the Sata DVD problem that Medevil's kext has?

andyvand 03-01-2010 08:28 PM

It should yes... it uses routines from AppleIntelPIIXATA (new style ATA driver coding...).
I however am not fully sure so I would say: test it

Failed to load in 64-Bit mode here - 32-Bit working fine.
See here for Screenshot.

AppleNForceATA 32/64

It didn't load for me in 64bit either

Can anyone confirm that this fixes the Sata DVD problem?

The kext works in both 32 and 64bit for me, but does have serious sata dvd drive issues, just having a dvd in makes the OS go screwy :(

I'm not sure if your kext is causing this, but i keep getting this random kp and i was thinking it was something to do with my 4GB of ram but im not really sure. Anyone else have this problem? and could tell me what this means? Thanks.
