Wireless N Mini PCI-E Antenna Help
I bought an Atheros 5008 AR5BXB72 from ebay this weekend. I plan to put it into my Acer 6930. The new Atheros card has 3 connectors and my laptop only has 2 U.FL antenna. I have read that you can install it with only 2 antenna but it will only get about 130 Mbps.
Question 1: In what order should I connect the antenna so that only 2 connectors are attached? i.e. I have one black and one white should they be placed with the 1 and 3 connector spots or like 1 and 2... Question 2: If I wanted to buy an extra U.FL antenna should it be black or white or does it even matter? Also what spot should the third antenna be connected? Thanks |
