Strange problem after installing RTL8139C PCI Ethernet Card !
 

I experienced a strange problem yesterday after installing a new RTL8139C PCI Ethernet Card.I have GA-G31M-ES2L rev2.0 mobo which has an Atheros network chip and I used to dual boot Mac OS X 10.5.8 & Windows XP SP2 and access the Mac Drives in windows using the software MacDrive 8. Network was not working in Mac but everything was running flawlessly. For network I decided to buy a RTL8139C PCI Ethernet Card which I heard to be combatible with Mac OS X. After installing the LAN card Windows did not boot and crashed with a BSOD "UNABLE_TO_MOUNT_ROOT_VOLUME" then I used Safe Boot, uninstalled MacDrive 8 and restarted computer and windows booted successfully but the problem again occured after installing MacDrive 8. I removed the PCI Ethernet Card and Windows Booted successfully. Probably there is any conflict between the RTL8139C drivers and MacDrive 8 drivers which results in a BSOD on windows bootup.. I updated the RTL8139C drivers and MacDrive 8 but problem still remains...

Any Solutions ... Please ??? :(:(:(
