As I see the main specs are equal to macbook, but i'm not sure that osx installation would be working on this HP Pavilion. I'm not really know that an i3 cpu configuration how much better... Please help me if you can. Any comments are wellcome. |
I would say that only WiFi is not going to work, everything else is highly compatible.

Exactly, this laptop is a real beauty when it comes to OSX. Wifi won't work but you can use usb wifi dongle instead or if you want to go a bit further you can replace your wifi card (which is just mini pci-express card) with some broadcom/atheros one for like 15eur and have a pure clone.

other choice?
One other choice can be Sony Vaio EB1s1e with the following specs:

People have various problems with Sonys. Even when the specs say it's compatible, it turns out it's not. And here you have ATI mobility card, which almost certainly won't work.
