Help: GTX260 on iPC Voodoo kernel
Wassup every
This is my first time installing a hackintosh. I got everything to work, but can't figure out the graphics problem. I've tried "graphics enabler" in com.apple.boot.plist, graphic string generated by os86x tools, but none of them seem to work. I've managed to force the display to my native resolution by method of "graphics mode=". However, in "about this mac", it still can't detect my graphics card and list my vram as 32MB, which is the standards 15yrs ago. I know my computer is old but not that old. So if anyone has any suggestions, i'd be more than happy to listen. Don't if it helps, but it is 10.5.6. |
I am pretty sure that the gtx 2__ series cards were not supported in 10.5.x installations, which is why I held off until 10.6 was released to get osx86 running on my machine.
gtx260's load up just fine with a recent version of graphics enabler in your bootloader in 10.6. You should grab a retail DVD and upgrade! I'm sorry, I have no advice as to whether or not they ever got gtx2__'s working in leopard, but when I looked around a lot a year-ish ago there was no solution. |
