Quad core laptops that will run SL retail?
 

Hi Osx86 forum,

I put this in the 10.6 forum rather than the notebook forum because I'm looking for advice on a new laptop rather than a notebook.

I really like the idea of the OSx86 project and I've just built myself home machine with the GA-EX58 and GTX295 that will hopefully run SL retail when I get round to it.

And I'd like to try and do the same for a new laptop. Are there any core i7 (or even i5 or core 2 duo) laptops that can run SL retail?

I had a look at the 10.6.0 HCL, but all the portables seem to be dual core. But I'm looking more for a quad-core laptop.

Has anyone bought a quad-core laptop in 2010 that will run SL retail?

Is there any way I can try and figure out by looking at the spec, e.g. chipset, graphics and audio to check for compatability like with my desktop?
