just hit the "Apple Button" and "Q" to quit the setup and go stait to where you can create an account.

Here is my patched RTL8187B.kext ----> http://www.mediafire.com/file/2zm0yt...0-RTL8187B.zip

Here is VoodooHDA.kext ----> http://forum.voodooprojects.org/inde...pic,234.0.html

neither of those work, actually none of the kexts that i've tried work at all.

I don't know if this is fixed or not, but the realtek kext works for me...you don't get the network icon but I can connect and surf thru the realtex crab icon thingy.

fixing to try the voodoo hda now.

Toshiba RTL8187B Issue...continued

Hi,

Yes, I have a similar problem. I installed iATKOS 10.6.3 S3 V2 on my Toshiba A205-S5803 and have everything functioning properly except my wireless card (rtl8187b). The iATKOS installation gives one the option of installing the rtl8187b driver and installs the realtek wireless utility as an application so I edited the info.plist file and changed the value of "33161" to "33175" as many people are suggesting and I have no success. I have tried re-installing the Kext but it only crashed my computer by popping up that gray square that says "you must restart your computer...hold down the power button..."

Any ideas??? :-(

Why not original SnowLeo?

Hi at all,
why will you not try SnowLeo original for ca. 30 Bucks? Take a look here: "http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=185823". The eventually further needed kexts are all to find in "http://www.kexts.com". I have OS x 10.6.4 on ASUS G71V!
