Is this the right way to get my "base" DSDT info

I used the program DSDTSE latest Windows version to extract my initial DSDT, then switched over to OSX 10.5.7 I then ran the OSX version of DSDTSE to compile and add some needed changes to that DSDT.dsl, followed with its installation in my E/E folder, and a rebuilding of Extensions.mkext with fixing of permissions by pfix 3.0

Is this a reliable way of working on the correct DSDT file for my system? I have not used anybody else's DSDT files.

I think I may have made a mistake, can someone verify this:

I've been placing my DSDT.aml in the /Extra folder, but haven't been putting this location string in the Chameleon boot.plist, also located in the /Extra folder. I do not have the DSDT.aml in the root directory (/DSDT.aml) - should I be putting DSDT location in com.apple.boot.plist, or moving it to the root directory if I don't? Or does Chameleon automatically search the /Extra folder for it, if a path hasn't been specified?

I've just been browsing my system logs and came across my system's FSB frequency and bus ratio displayed by the 10.5.7 kernel:

kernel TSC: Frequency = 2799.769854MHz, FSB frequency = 199.983561MHz, bus ratio = 14

Should I be adding these variables to boot.plist, or are they relatively standard values that are in the DSDT file?
