Try this :)

That kext is a no go, it causes a kernel panic on bootups and when I enter the network section under system preferences. I've got the same system as xr3rmlygood

All you need is a legacy/injector kext for your Yukon. Just add your proper device-id if its not detected.

Giving that a shot right now but I'm not sure if the device id would be 0x088E8071 ?

No go with those I have serious issues when installing non working kexts that my system starts hitting random keys on my keyboard making it impossible to open folders, or various kernel panics so I have to do about 5 reboots to get it to come back to normal. not sure what my device ID would be

Alright got that, where should I be adding the device ID though? theres a few IOPCIPrimaryMatch keys

scififan68 06-27-2010 04:55 PM

<key>IOPCIPrimaryMatch</key>
<string>0x436b11ab</string>

Alright so I added the device ID in but now I just either get a kernel panic on bootup, or a blank light grey screen without any cursor with that kext in
