Radeon 4850 almost working but cursor issue?
 

Hi all, new to the forums and to mac os x. Massive thanks to all who helped me get 10.6.4 running the other week! :)

I have now upgraded my GPU from a nvidia 9800GT to a radeon 4850. Nice card but many says has issues i see with os x. Anyway, i changed the card and eventually after popping my os x disk in, i got it to boot ok. Have not really had time to play with it to check all is well all round because my mouse cursor is strange. Its basically 3 or 4 lines below each other and about an inch long - thus making it hard to navigate.

im new to the scene and still getting used to entering kexts and tweaks etc so any help is most appreciated in advance!

A good old reboot did the job the second time round! ;)

im currently using the dvi out on the GPU and a dvi to vga convertor for monitor until i upgrade if this helps anyone. cheers, martin
