Full QE external but blank internal Toshiba Tecra M7 110m
 

Ive been working at this for the past thirty hours literally and im beat! I also worked on this a couple months ago for weeks and still im in the same spot with minimal progress. My situation is, no matter what the build I install (i prefer IPC 10.5.6) My internal display never works properly. I will try to give as many clues as possible so someone with more knowledge can hopefully help me asses what the problem is.
First my system and specs for more insight. Im using a toshiba tecra m7 laptop. The reason i bought this was to make a hackintosh tablet for drawing, It has a good mid size screen with 1440x900 resolution and because its super cheap. Hence my frustration with the lack of display support. The specs are as follows.

• 14.1" WXGA+ Display (1440 x 900) with High Brightness/Wide View Angle
• NVIDIA Quadro NVS 110M with TurboCache and 128MB (dedicated)
• 60GB HDD (5400rpm, Serial-ATA)
• CD-RW/DVD-ROM Multifunction drive
• Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG (802.11a/b/g)

My internal monitor will work if i dont have any kexts or anything installed but it only displays at 1024x768 or 1280x800 if i push it. It also has no QE, so obviously its not being properly ran. If I install NVkush an external display works properly at 1900x1200 res with QE but then the internal screen doesnt work at all, it will turn black and then start slowly fading into different colors with lines all over the screen. I tried playing with and deleting some kexts to see what the function was. It turned out the Geforce kext along with a couple others were needed for the external to run front row (QE) which led me to believe they were needed for the card to run correctly all around. Today after studying a bit i tried to install Macvidia 1.0.81. It seemed to delete almost all other kext files and upon rebooting I was greeted with the mac error screen saying to restart something along these lines http://homepage.mac.com/chrisphin/gr...ernelpanic.jpg

So i ran the -v verbose mode at the next start and it actually said that nvidia had actually recognized a display with 1440x900 max res. So this leads me to believe the macvidia is the key to getting the internal recognized corretly but its conflicting with something else. Does anyone know how to do a "screen cap" of the verbose read out? is it possible? This way i could post something for someone more experience to analyze. I have so many more clues etc... that i will keep adding but like i said Im soooo exhausted and cant even think straight anymore. Hopefully someone can help and point me in the right direction. I know it has to be possible and maybe even simple. Thanks for reading.
