Broadcom network card shuts off display
 

Hi there,

I am encountering a problem with my acer aspire 6930G. It originally carries a intel wifi link 5100, but as this card is not supported so I bought a broadcom 4324 network card.

Though when I plug in the broadcom card and boot my pc, my display won't light up at all. If I loosen the screws to attach the network card my screen will go on but the hardware button will glow just a little. While it's supposed to glow dark orange.

Does anyone have a idea why this is happening? Or is someone encoutering the same problem?
