Snow leopard on amd opteron , my progress!
 

Hi guys , after a lot of dsdt patching and time , I solved most of my problems with snow 10.6.3 , some remains and need to be solved , anyway this is my progress until now with my system , I hope it remains stable!

thank you bro , I continued patching my dsdt and I loaded AppleLPC.kext with dsdt patching and an LPC_injector.kext , which I placed at /Extra/Extensions/.

P.S: Can anybody help me with a memory dsdt patch , they do not show on system profiler. I tried many bootloaders , smbios.plist with the original Applesmbios.kext , even patched Applesmbios.kext , the result it the same. I know it is a cosmetics thing , but I love cosmetics! :p

since I have just found the solution about AppleSMBus , there are two kexts : AppleSMBusController and AppleSMBusPCI. After SBus dsdt patching , if you make an SMBusPCI_injector.kect , with your vendor and device id , put it in /Extra/Extensions/ , then the two kexts are loaded.

Can you share your dsdt code to get you x700 to work?

Does it have QE CI?
