CDs/DVDs DO NOT mount after IOPCIFamily.kext upgrade
 

Hi all,

I've installed Kalyway 10.5.2 onto an AMD athlon.
Im running Voodoo XNU Kernel 1.0.

This problem was non existant untill i replaced the IOPCIFamily.kext
The reason for me updating the kext was too remove the error and speed up boot(which has happened) but at the expense of CD's not mounting.
USB's do mount however.

I've tried the 3.2.8 and 3.3.0 versions of IOPCIFamily.kext with no difference.

Also, CDs/DVDs do not come up under disk utility when inserted into drive.

How could i fix this?

PS- these are not blank discs, they contain data on them.
