I need want to backup my system using Time Machine. However, I only have one hard disk with one partition. Is there any way I can possibly still set up a backup method using time machine? Would appreciate it. Thank you.

did you try making another partition on the same HD? if you are using GUID you can split your drive without lost data. I donīt know if time machine support this way.

I'll try, thanks for that suggestion.

Yep, it works. Thanks a lot roisoft. I never tried Time Machine, this is why I asked. Works like a charm created a 150gb partition on the same HD. =) Success.
