HELP:Updating to 10.6.8
 

Hi i am running SnowLeo(10.6.0)
i want to update to 10.6.8
--COMPUTER--
Processor : AMD Athlon II X2 260 Processor
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-MA78LMT-S2
Chipset: AMD 780G
SouthBrigde: SB700
Memory : 4GB DDR3
Operating System : Windows7
Graphics Card :Zotac 9400GT(1GB)

what do i have to do before/after updating to Mac OS X 10.6.8 Combo Update

First download the 10.6.8 kernel from nawcom's, its available on kexts.com or http://3rr0rists.net/driver/legacy-k...by-nawcom.html as actually nawcom's blog is down.
Find the AppleACPIPlatform.kext and IOPCIFamily.kext from the 10.6.7 update,
try to Google it.
Download: pfix http://www.osx86.net/view/593-pfix_3.1.html
Run the update, when finished don't restart. Replace the 2 downloaded kexts in System/Library/Extensions. Create an account password. Run the pfix and choose the root volume, usually: disk0s1 to fix permissions.
Force Quit the update intaller.
Run the nawcoms 10.6.8 kernel and restart.
