I used SNOWLEO_MAC_Snow_Leopard_OSX86_64_For_INTEL_AMD_32 _64_MBR_GUID, search for it in google..
During installation make sure u check following options in customisation:
- kernel: chocolate kernel
- amd patch
- fakeSMC
- platform UUID
- drivers for your LAN/WAN
- legacy apple piicata
- drivers for your graphicscard
- and chameleon RC5 or one of the older

here is a detailed tutorial.. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/ind...owtopic=236495

if dvd has booting issue try cpus=1 busratio=20 while booting the dvd

USE SNOWLEO_MAC_Snow_Leopard_OSX86_64_For_INTEL_AMD_32 _64_MBR_GUID
atleast i have done it that way

about the thing u posted still waiting for root device
1-Download transmac
2-download the extensions.mkext for still waiting for root device issue from here
http://www.leohazard.com/dvdbootfix.html
3-open the iso in transmac
4-navigate to System>Library replace the extensions.mkext
5-burn the iso at 4x speed

I have not tried this method personally but it should work
