What are we suppose to do in order to address this? Was anyone on the forums able to install the Time Machine update without a problem on their AMD machines?

WinLinMac01 03-21-2008 05:18 AM

The update requires a 9.2.2 kernel so we'll have to wait for ToH or whoever to work on supplying us a patched version to work with this update.

WinLinMac01 03-21-2008 05:36 AM

whew....9.2.2 kernal?!!! You're right, we do need a kernel then. What to do? lol

Yeah, us AMD people will need to wait a little while longer before we can join that party :)

Yeah, I'm sure Netkas is back in his workshop as we speak. Strange though, I thought roisoft (or somebody) got this update working?? I could be wrong, though.

I think you are talking about Safari and Security Update.

actually, i just realized he was advising someone on how to avoid the kernel panics in that first thread about this update, but i think he was just talking hypothetically (i.e. "bullshitting") hahah j/k. :)

you never know, lol. Would rather wait for the next kernel. Its a mandate for all of us I see. I wonder what zeph is thinking.
