I can restart, sleep and shutdown my computer BEFORE I installed ALC883.mkpg from http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=36520&hl=ALC883 (because the one in the installer didn't work). I do have sound.

Everytime I restart, sleep, shutdown my computer, it just shows CPU halted at the very end and the computer is still on.
