Does anyone else find that Wine is slow with osx86, in the graphics department? I'm using 10.5.2 and have an Nvidia 6600GT. A Windows mapping program that I use redraws the screen quite slowly, and in Half-Life 2 I get about 8 fps, even with -dxlevel 81.
On the same machine, in Linux, the map app is fine, and Half-Life 2 is very playable (30 fps and more). I seem to be have QE/CI enabled. It says it's PCI, but it's actually AGP, is this normal?
