Gigabyte G31M-ES2L 10.6.0 to 10.6.2 need help please

I had a full working hackintosh running retail SL now i upgrade last night using software updater and got a kernal panic on reboot. Is there I guide to move to 10.6.2 ? Thank you

will this method work for sure on the G41M-ES2L Rev 1.1 boards ???

Also I notice there is no AHCI Sata mode in the bios, is this a deal breaker?
