The problem is your Boot-132 CD probably doesn't have the 10.6.2 nVidia drivers which adds support for the GT2xx cards....

Yeah stick with an Intel setup. Less headaches because you don't need a custom kernel, patch CPUIDs each update, etc etc. If you're worried about money build it yourself.

The only success I've had with distros is with the WindOSX and SnowyWindOSX distros, but I recommend doing a retail install. If you search netbook snow leopard kexts you should find what you need.
