SL 10:6:8 with Sapphire 4650
Following these intructions, Mine booted up to the 2nd display.(My temp solution was to zoom into the desktop so I could get my cursor onto system pref and then mirrored the displays) Vga is working...

newbie workaround
Hi, I eject all disks, force quit, log off and then hit the back button to restart or shutdown or sleep.... until I find an easier way :)
