u could try..

1. deleting the extensions.mkext (by booting with -f)

2. or get your self another mach_kernel.. what kernel are you using? voodoo works the best for me

also try removing some of your RAM (like have 1 x 2GB), and then putting it in if you get OSX to install successfully.

Hopefully there's no similar threads, but.. I have a microsoft keyboard + mouse w/ extra media buttons, and the only way i can use them is to have the proper drivers, and to plug them in USB ports....
