Have got it working at long last ;-) There's bound to be others with the same problem, so here's the solution http://www.ralinktech.com/support.php?s=3 and download USB(RT257X/RT2671)

Hi, I have had a really smooth install of iATKOS v51 onto my Dell E520 apart from 2 easily fixed issues:
1: No Sound but thanks to VoodooHDA.kext........Thankyou !!
2: Intel 82562v 10/100 not...
