SL Dell Dimension 3000 no Sound

Hi Guys I've installed 10.6 retail with ModCD on Dell Dimension 3000.

AppleAC97Audio.kext Installed. Shows working slider in menu bar no sound. Tried to set ch 3 ch6 Midi. Get static noise only...
