iPC 10.5.6 with minimum PPF2 should work great. It supports SB600, of course Turion works ok with 9.5.0 voodoo, so it should work without additional modifications. Not sure about your graphic card,...

You have to add PS2 Keyboard/Mouse kext to the installer. Try iPC distro, it has both during the installation and it gives the option to install PS2 support aswell so you shouldnt have any more...

Have you tried to boot with -x ? And did u select any video drivers during the installation ? If so, boot with -s and remove them. I`d start with those two things.

If you dont see HDD in installer nor the Disk Utility, it means that it doesnt have proper kext for your chipset. You have to add proper kext to the .mkext package on the installer dvd and burn it...

Of course it IS worth trying ;). First get iPC 10.5.6 or any other release and try to install it "as it is", if you encounter any problems then say what went wrong and we`ll see :)
