We are able to boot from retail DVD and install SL without any patching or tricks?

Does it also mean patched kernel is not needed when this loader is used?

Snow Leopard's Software Update

As you probably all already noticed there is no 'Download only' option in SL's Software Update. I can not believe they removed this. If we have several Macs we are forced to download updates manually...

Not Vanilla supported. It's AMD on nForce4 chipset motherboard. It's running in 32-bit mode.

My Ethernet card is PCI one, not integrated.

No additional kexts used on Leopard.

- In 64-bit mode it runs but almost all programs just gives "quit unexpectedly" error.
