I installed the iPC OSX86 10.5.6 PPF5 which has the Voodoo 9.5 kernel but I still have issues with the timer/div-zero/erratic mouse behaviour.

Until I bought the right AMD board I could only use a IDE DVD and IDE hard drive so that may be your problem. Try installing on the IDE drive.

Make sure all the ram in your system is the same speed otherwise all the sticks will run at the slowest ram's speed.
