i know it's kinda classic but i got the nasty reboot thing when using the vanilla kernel. chameleon comes up, kernel loads and right after the kexts are loaded and the resolution change should...

anyway got an ide/sata adapter and it's working fine.

but i'm still curious why it didn't work ...

also the disk and cable are fine since under xp all is working fine.

for the shutdown issue install openhaltrestart from the iatkos dvd and/or try a different kernel.

installed iatkos v7 and can't use my ide burner at all. also just some of my ide disks are recognized and write support seems...
