Its not difficult at all to install retail anymore, there are plenty of guides to follow, if you have a compatible SATA controller it should be easy to install, although getting all your hardware...

I see a waiting for dsmos in the boot log, maybe its slowing down things somehow, I was using AppleDecrypt on Leo, so I dont know if thats normal for dsmos or it can be optimized.

I'll try that when I get a chance, but without being able to load a different set of kexts for Leo & SnowLeo we still have to put SnowLeo kexts on /S/L/E instead of on /E/E, not the best cleanest...

I was wrong, the JMicronATA kext from Apple is 32 bits only, you would need to use one of the patched kexts suggested if want it to work in 64 bits.
