"Always get this anoying messages"
What messages exact ? SMC messages must not have to do with your real problem of stopping the boot process. For example: if you disabled AppeIntelCPU, you will get such an waiting message from SMC - but that doesnt matter / doesnt stop the booting. |

If u removed AppleIntelCPUPowerManagment.kext put it back and use NullCpuPowerManagment.kext

These messages are not ur problem:
Multiple people including me have these in the log, but it starts anyway. Could u post the relevant parts from kernel.log and system.log |

U tried using netkas' fakesmc.kext ?
For example this is my kernel log: Sep 4 16:31:29 hacmac kernel[0]: ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin::start - waitForService(resourceMatching(AppleIntelCPUPower Management) timed out Sep 4 16:31:32 hacmac kernel[0]: jnl: disk3s2: replay_journal: from: 31935488 to: 35977728 (joffset 0xe8e000) Sep 4 16:31:36 hacmac kernel[0]: jnl: disk3s2: journal replay done. This error only means that ur intelcpupawermanagment isn't working, presumably by using NullCPUPowerManagment.kext |

My CPU is quadcore E9450
and VGA is Radeon ATI 3870, mobo ASUS p5K SE i've managa to pass ACPI_SMC_Platformplugin waiting for SLOT 1after putting EOVenabler.kext and edditing my boot.plist with the EFIsring(in this slot is my GPU prosecor for VGA), but now i've have ACPI_SMC_Platformplugin waiting for SLOT 13(i dont know what exactly is in this slot) I gave up on continuing with SL, because i Have so much other hardware attachmed on my board, that i need and i dont believe that there are some MAC drivers - kexys for them, like: techisat skystar philips analog capturing device 2 rs232 adapters- do I have to remove these in order getting SL boot ??? Is there any way to get SL boot procedures pass them. After 7 days of everyday trying to install SL i format the MAC hardisc, and i continue with my windows vista x64, not having problems to have everything in use. ( that was step I've was forced to make, in order not seeing myself getting kicked from my wife ). I'll be waiting for vista upgrade to windows 7, and at the same time for Ikaros 10.6 Last edited by fc bayern; 09-07-2009 at 07:33 AM. |
