is that a Vitesse network card? (it might be written on a chip) - if yes, i can tell the solution, had really much headache with it

i have the MSI K9N Platinum, the onboard dual lan chip is vitesse as you said. I have not found a sloution up untill now...

Vitesse? How can I tell the chipset name? My mobo is Asus Crosshair with nforce 590. In my past attempts at getting osx on it, LAN would be recognized and forcedeth would be loaded (makes sense, recognized by linux as forcedeth too) but then I can never get an address from DHCP, I'm pretty sure it's no problem from router but the driver itself.
