My patched Intel NATIT works in Snow, so I'm guessing so

OS:Mac OS X MountainLion 10.8.2 & Windows 7 Ultimate x64

Do you mean kext from your previous Leo install?

Dont they have to be 64bit coded?

You need 64 bit kexts when you run kernel in 64bit mode
