Kalyway 10.5.2 AMD help
Hey I have a Hp t3730.sc AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual core Processor 3800+ 2.00 GHz
ram 3gb . And when i try to boot Kalyway 10.5.2 install disc in my cd-drive i type -v and i have tried many others too but it never works it always stops at "Still waiting for root device" Anyone now if it work on this pc or anything else that is wrong? plz help!!! |

it might be that your motherboard chipset isn't supported by the Distro. give me your Motherboard Model and i will submit a solution for it.. if it's AMD SB700 Chipset then your ready for the fullest help from me...
Try these booting options by pressing F8 during Darwin OSx86 Boot Timer busratio=20 cpus=1 fsb=133 config= live.plist busratio=20 cpus=1 fsb=133 -v -f -x -f -v -x -v Platform=X86PC -v Platform=ACPI -v -v busratio=20 cpus=1 Try these booting options.. maybe you can success by this things.. Boot arguments normally dont help for "still waiting for root device". It just means your SATA or IDE controller where the DVD drive is connected to is not supported by the distro.
